More about me

The band Strigôň plays medieval-inspired music which is in live concerts enriched not only by their historical costumes but also by the composition of musical instruments. Here you can see and hear familiar instruments such as the cello, whistles and bagpipes but also less common like the bouzouki, davul, kemence or hurd-gurdy.

They draw inspiration from old slavic legends, ancient gods and mythical creatures that often haunted our ancestors.

The beginning of the band dates back to 2016 when the band played as a trio. A year later, Barbora, Michal and Jano welcomed a fourth member among their ranks – Jakub. Since then they have succesfully released their first album called Dunaj and are currently working on their second album.
