HOW TO WIN
Gain the most Points in your country or territory by the end of this countdown, and WIN. There will also be 3 "Wild Card" Winners worldwide who will be chosen to win despite not having the most Points - they will be the A&R and Judges' choice.

HOW TO WIN POINTS
1000 to 3000 POINTS
The A&R Team and Guest Judges will be choosing the best songs and videos every month from each submission opportunity / category. These songs and videos will also be promoted and earn Points according to the following:
EVERY MONTH
3 Best Songs from All First Song Submissions
2000 Points Each Song
3 Best Live Performances from All First Video Submissions
1000 Points Live Video
The Best Music Video from all First Music Video Submissions
1000 Points
The Best Viral Video from all First Viral Video Submissions
1000 Points
1 Best Song / Category from other Composer Categories to be opened within the year.
2000 Points Each Song
1 Best Video / Category from other Video Categories to be opened within the year.
1000 Points Each Video
YEAR END
1 Best Song / Category from all Song Categories a month before the countdown ends.
3000 Points Each Song
1 Best Video / Category from all Video Categories a month before the countdown ends.
1500 Points Each Video
A&R and Judges will include expert musicians, promoters or executives from labels, artist management, radio, tour management, and more. They will be revealed all throughout the year.
100,000 POINTS
When you have a video recieves over 100,000 views in any social media, you will receive 100,000 Points. Only new views are counted (views that you gain after your video is released by The Race)
250 to 1000 POINTS
As mentioned earlier, there will be more submission opportunities / categories that will open up all thoughout the year. You may watch out for them in your email or social media.
There are a set of video submissions that will earn you a badge if you send a video for all or most of the categories inside the set. There are also some unique and sometimes difficult videos to accomplish, and if you are able to send a video in their category, you also earn a special badge.

100 to 200 POINTS
You will have noticed that you earn some Points everything you send a song or video. There will be more submission opportunities /categories that will open up throughout the year, and you may watch out when they are announced in your email or in Social Media. Categories include anything from songwriting techniques, instrumental tracks, to creative, funny, or even bizzare videos...
1-5 POINTS
Fans and Members can give you Points by voting for your videos. As you will notice, there are "Star Votes" on top of your video entry the moment your video is launched on the website. The Points received from votes will depend on how many stars you recieve.
0.10-1.00 POINTS
As a small perk, whenever you do things in the website, such as 'add friends', message someone, vote, or comment on videos, you are earning small Points.

THREE "WILD CARD" ARTISTS WORLDWIDE
A&R and Judges will look into the songs and videos, and if they see an artist that just "blows them away", they can give him the WILD CARD and have that artist goes directly to the GBOB World Final as a Finalist. A maximum of 3 WILD CARDS can be given each season.

Yes, you can catch up by winning special badges when you create and send 'unique' videos, or complete a set of videos. Please see here as to what unique videos or set of videos will earn you a badge.
